FACULTY SUPPORTS LIFE WITHOUT DISABILITIES WITH CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECT

A corporate social responsibility project was carried out by the faculty members and students of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising of our faculty. The "Blue Lid Project", which was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hıdır POLAT in the past, gained momentum with the support of faculty members and students. Within the scope of the project, the first part of the caps collected with the great devotion of the students of the department were separated on 29 March 2024 with the participation of the students together with the department faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hıdır POLAT and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat SEYFİ to be sent to the Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey (TOFD). It was seen that thousands of caps were collected during the sorting process. The faculty members of the department stated that they will make great efforts to spread this responsibility project in Niksar district and to collect even more caps. At the same time, the faculty members stated that they want to contribute to overcoming social and environmental problems with different projects like this and thanked the students for their devoted behaviour. The students expressed that they were very happy to contribute to this kind of responsibility work.
